BNSSG and BANEs have agreed that pharmacies can continue to claim their normal fees at the end of the month for supervised consumption during the Covid-19 pandemic even if the patient is now not being supervised and is now collecting less often to reduce the risk of infection to this vulnerable group.
Please therefore claim your normal number of supervised consumption claims you would claim at the end of the month.
Please remember that dispensing should still be done in daily bottles to reduce the risk and remember to endorse these prescriptions with PD(n) where n = the number of bottles provided minus the number of times dispensed.
